change the ''eoc section'' to ''rs3 section''

Unsure if this is already underway or not, but would make sense to me that they change the name of the EOC section to rs3 avoids confusion for newbies.

yes i am aware they are the same thing, but we called it ''eoc'' because they updated it with the evolution of combat like chloecat said, they have now updated it to rs3, i just think it would cause less confusion if it was just renamed rs3 rather than eoc now.

In a few years all the new people wont even know what EOC stood for so why should it be permanent? Change it with every major update please.

 

You sir are dumb, RS3 is major change to the game, new things got added and it doesnt have to be COMBAT related, whole graphic rework etc.
so i support this.

 

When RS3 is html5 based, then sure, rename it to RS3. Don't see the need now.

Also, APART means, not part of, so you're calling someone else a moron for what they said, when you said the exact same thing.

 

At the end of the day, it is irrelevant if its just an update to the graphics/music or not, the game has still been updated to ''rs3'' and it would make more sense and cause less confusion to people ( especially noobs to runescape and sythe )

First time gold buyers/Sythe traders and new players maybe looking to pick up an account will identify better with "RS3" than "EoC."

I see what you mean, but this "graphical update" has changed the way you play runescape.

 

Runescape 3 encompasses new quests, new graphics, all of the new stuff. Jagex OFFICIALLY launched a new version because they felt it was no longer Runescape 2.

Evolution of Combat is a feature WITHIN Runescape 3. I don't see Jagex calling the game EoC, because it's not called that... It's Runescape 3. The name change is not needed, but it makes more sense than calling it EoC.

Support - EOC is no longer the defining part of Runescape. It was a major update, but still part of "Runescape 2". I never much liked people calling RS2 "EOC" since combat is only a part of the whole.

RS3 is the proper name for the main version of Runescape. It should also be the name of the section used for gold sales.

 

RS3. EoC was an add-on, not a whole new game. It's called RS3 because that's the game name.
