Change 99s to 120s

Okay, so I was thinking about how everyone's complaining about how Jagex (probably a rumor) wants to change the 99 highest skill, to 120.

Wouldn't this be a good thing?

If the EXP stayed the same though. So 13m experience is level 120 (instead of 99).

Because personally, when I have like 98 in a skill, it takes forever to level up, and it's boring. This way, you'll level up quicker, but still have the same experience.

Plus Jagex can add new things for different levels.

I agree. Quicker leveling makes it more fun. But in reality, it's not actually quicker leveling. Just appears to be so.

 

I think making it 120 would be nice, Also if they added new features to each individual skill, which I could imagine all the people with 200m xp in each stat will have a hay day if and when if they do that.

 

I wouldn't be to happy if they did. Its just an illusion so you think its easier. First they made HP's from 100 to 1000, so it seems like we're hitting higher. Now if they make everything to 120 it'll just...idk how to explain in words. I mean why make the game seem easier. The beauty of runescape is that its so hard to "finish".

120 prayer...combat stats... no thanks. Would annoy many players who worked hard for their 99s.

 

Read the thread. People who have 99 would have 120 now.

 

Sorry, but then what is the point? Easier to gain levels, and imo, would look messy.

But they *wouldn't* make it so 120 = current 99.

It would be the same formula for experience they have always used, and what Dungeoneering is now .. level 120 = 104m experience. No thanks, 13m is bad enough.

I also agree with what was said: Rune Scape is fun due to the illusion of difficulty.

It's always funny that 1/13th of your experience is the required amount to level up from 98-99.

I support stretching out the levels entirely. New features would be amazing.

 

I'd prefer it if it were to stay the same, but have the exp cap removed. As Jagex said in a video, increasing the level cap to 120 would have a huge effect on the game, and an effect they wouldn't really like.

 

It would be nice if it did happen because there would be something to look forward too... but I don't think they will do it because they'll have to change ALOT of other things in the game to implement it properly.

 

Idgaf, at this point it wouldn't make sense since a lot of skills don't even have content at level 80-99 or whatever. But once they have content there it should be fine I'd say.

 

Here's my outake on this subject:: I believe there is no point in it,but as for others who like training only one skill and junk may actually want too, I support.

 

I wouldn't mind if they increased it as long as you get a different skillcape at 99 and 120.

 

i agree with kerdo, it would be pointless atm because they could just put those new items/things you can do in 80-99 basically, and they couldnt made 1-99=1-120 because they have already released dungeoneering. and 120=104m xp. not 13m xp.

 

it would suck tbh. i cbf training str anymore.

You wouldn't be training any more than getting a 99. People with 99s would get 120s. The experience at 120 would be 13m.

That way the experience is more stretched out.
