Not allowing people to market Inferno Capes for awhile

I think this suggestion is insanely important due to the fact that people are going to need tons of supplies. Twisted bow specifically.. And most people practice with maxed gear in about 1-2.5b in gear. If efficient, can do it with cheaper gear, but again it's rare. Let's say even if they can do it efficiently, but that's only in high amount of value in terms of gear.

I don't think anyone should be allowed to market Inferno Capes simply because it's an easy way for someone to get scammed for a LOT. Not only can that happen but, sellers can also be framed for stealing stuff which is a huge market controversial issue. It's just an extremely toxic situation for people who would try to offer this service.


I'm not saying COMPLETELY NOT ALLOWING INFERNO SERVICES FOREVER. I'm saying there needs to be rules for this. Such as, posting multiple inferno cape completions and the gear they used. If they have evidence that they can complete inferno with welfare gear than it's rather safe than having 100m+ in gear.

Personally, doing firecapes for so many years and I find Inferno to be insanely difficult in the higher waves.. Not saying people aren't good... But you get my point.

Nobody will be efficiently doing it without expensive gear for awhile so I think a month?? Or longer?

What are you guys' suggestion on this?

you could do inferno with like 50-100m if you're experienced.

With this being said 100m is still quite a lot but no where near 1-2.5b

 

No support we have highly trusted members like zuzel who have offered firecape services for many years. I presume he'll go on to market inferno capes and don't see why he should be restricted. If anything we should educate users of the risks associated with letting someone use your account, if it isn't already blatantly obvious.

 

No support because Sythe is a Free market.

Why? -> People are allowed to be trusted with billions of GP on brand new sythe accounts in the account rental section. So the same reasoning applies here.

Also side note, I believe inferno capes can be done with budget gear in the near future. It's based on RNG and skill. If Woox can almost beat the Inferno on one of his earliest attempts (15m gear setup), I'm sure good fire capers can get it done eventually without a twisted bow.

Firecaping is totally different. It's way easier and can do it with 1m in gear.

It's not only dangerous for buyers, but also sellers. What if Zuzel or someone gets framed for stealing their gear used for inferno?? Who will be responsible for that.

I understand it's a free market. I'm not saying TOTALLY disabondon and not allow for marketing it. I'm saying add restrictions and rules for it. Higher restrictions due to not a long ago release so there isn't super efficient ways yet. Unless your woox.. lol. There is risk involved for a seller and a buyer.

Maxed main rentals, can show evidence of getting dc'd to be scammed by an owner. A service scam, no evidence on either side. both parties get in trouble and it's simply not fair for the two parties especially if a seller is innocent. He can't defend himself.

 

I haven't browsed the RS account services market in 4+ years so I'm not up to date on the current stickies, but if someone can show proof of obtaining the inferno cape on their thread, then I don't see why it should be restricted?

 

So you're saying because there's a chance of the trade going sour, you should just completely ban the market on Sythe?
