League is broken

So in the past 3 days i have played 10 to 15 games, 6 to 8 of them have had AFK's, whether they never entered the game or they simply AFK mid way through a game.

This is literally a common event and there is no possible way to win on a streak.

 

Think of it this way; it's 5 v 5, you're on your own team. so you have 4 people on your team, they have 5 people on theirs. Statistically, it is more probable that they will have an AFK than you would have an AFK. Good luck climbing

 

Is it not weird that ive had an afk every other game though? Why am i being placed with people either have net issues or no respect for someone else's game?

 

It's just League of Legends lol. You'll always have the advantage because you only have 4 other people on your team whereas the enemy has 5. You'll always have the better probability of NOT having an afk. Nothing else to really say :\ Unfortunate.

 

Not that uncommon, we've all had streaks where idiots join and then leave half way through the game (it's even worse when you're in promo's). The enemy team is just as likely to have an AFK player, you just got drawn the short hand, unlucky.

 

Likely just an unlucky streak, I've personally not noticed any sort of increase in afk's, in fact I don' think I've had one in a while.

 

It's not broken you just had bad luck we all get Afkers

 

The thing is people that are stuck in silver/gold are, hate to break it to ya, obviously gold and silver skill.

Even with afks, if you are truly high plat/diamond skill level, then silver and gold is a pathetic joke where you can carry 90% of your games by yourself.

The problems in gold, is even if some players are good mechanically, they dont know what to do objectively. They would rather chase kassadin across the map while his entire team is aced, then for example get a tier 2 turret or inhib.

They also like to dive turrets a lot.

 

This guy speaks the truth. I joined a Gold V (I think?) game and I simply couldn't lose. They were all just so obvious and I could read literally everything they were going to do 10 steps ahead like a book lol.

More chance of an afk being on enemy team rather than on your team, as well.

 

Just sounds like a bad luck streak to me. Sorry man, happens to everyone some time. Keep powering through and it'll end.

 

I played for 4 years between bronze 5 and diamond 1 and never had two afks in a row. Never felt like I was having trouble climbing for any reason past my own skill level. And probably had 1 troll/afk who ruined a game for me, on average, 1/50 games. Sounds like a gross exaggeration.

 

You're just unlucky. I think the same thing when I get an afk but tbh in reality its probably an even amount of AFKs for either team.
