Kid Cudi readying rock album, mixtape and film

The Cleveland MC has revealed that he he will be dropping a rock album ("wizard is a rock album, no raps, just singing. brand new thing. flavor") midway through the year.

In addition to this, he is releasing a new mixtape "A Man Named Scott" and is set to release his movie "Maniac", directed by 'Transformers' leadman and Hip-Hop buff Shia Lebouf, which should be ready by the end of 2011, the rapped tweeted.

    Cudi is so creative man.
I'm kind of glad that he left rap music, because it shows that he is not just stuck on one genre.

Our generation is all about working together and doing mash-ups.
And he's basically mashing up his own style to other genres.

That's what I like about him. He will stick to what he believes in.

    Can't wait!

Lol yeah i heard about this from someone els. Apparently some of the songs on Man on moon 2 are a little sample of what he will be making on his rock album. I hope its still a slow beat and stuff thats only reason i listen to cudi because its way different and its dope. Ill be interested to see how the sales go for the new album.
