Hey everyone. One of my dearest friends has taken her own life. I was so torn up about this i couldn't keep it all inside so i just wrote it all down on paper and this is what i wrote... She walks down the hallway with her head held high, She's holding back tears and pretending she isn't going to cry. Jealous faces stare at her since they think she has it all, She's skinny, pretty, & all the boys beckon to her call. But what they dont know is what goes on behind closed doors, She's beaten at home and hangs out with stoners, dropouts, & whores. Bruises and cuts mark her dainty arms all around, She has every mark from when she is pushed to the ground. He father drinks too much because her mother left when she was six, So now she has a screwed up life that she cannot fix. She tries to numb the pain by getting high and selling herself, No one caring that she's destroying her life and needs help. She's learned that being slutty is the only way to be in, Not caring who she hurts or if she's commiting a sin. She rolls up a joint and smokes it all the way through, Wondering how her life got so fucked up and what to do. She doesn't know when the limit will ever come, Or if there will ever be a time in her life when she'll be done. All she knows is that home is where drugs and sex lie, And that it's the next best thing to do than die. This is dedicated to Nicole Harris.
:O Nice is all the stuff true in that? Wow id stop writing poems about her and help her if i was you.
Not trying to be brash here but she is kinda dead.. on topic: sorry to here about that , i know what its like to loose someone close.
Yeah she was one of my best friends, and despite my best efforts i couldn't stop her from doing what she did. She's gone now and theres nothing i can do. (Yes all that stuff is true)
Initial thoughts - Ok, it looks like this guy took some time to sit down and right poetry, ill give it a shot and read it. About halfway - You must think you know her well. Conclusion - That was very deep, its a shame a person can go through so much, if only she had someone to get her through things, or just help... Good poem, 10/10
