Fairly certain Klucius scammed me while "middlemanning"

Decided to buy an rsn from someone here on sythe, asked lucius to mm and he agreed. I want to mention that I bought an rsn from Lucius and was given a fresh lvl 3 account which im assuming sniped it at one point. Once myself, lucius and the other guy were all in discord, Lucius was very quick to mention snipers and how one of us was to take responsibility.

Now tell me, why on earth, would anyone be randomly spamming the name within miliseconds of our transfer? Tell me the chances of that happening.

Now, Lucius is a name hoarder, obviously. He has names that were sniped on release. I also can't seem to find his list of names anymore, took it off sythe it seems.

If anyone sees the name "Tor" on his list of names, please, get this guy reported and banned.

 

It's kind of impossible to provide proof if someone isn't directly saying they scammed you.. It's easy for a "trusted" person to snag a name and blame it on one of the buyer/seller. Makes them look innocent when in reality they're fucking both over. Site is shady as fuck. The idiot removed his list from sythe and now it's Discord only, wonder why?

 

Facts:
They never told me the RSN being xferred until after it was sniped.
He took more than 5 minutes between changes.

Please don't waste staff time with threads like these. The trade for for 60m 07 gp. I middlemanned the GP and split it 50/50 as all three of us agreed in the group chat. I have video footage + screenshots of this. If you want to claim I stole the gp too, go right ahead. In the future, be aware that names get sniped every single day. There are plenty of guides on how to move them to go ahead and give them a read.

Also, as this trade was for a name not an account, deciding who takes snipe responsibility is REQUIRED. Check the name sales rules for further information. You clearly have no idea how the name sales business works.

PS: My list was removed from Sythe due to issues you're obviously unaware about.

 

If it took as long as Lucius said to transfer it, plenty of people could have saw it was on the first change and then set up to snipe it. Also, if the name was publicized even a little bit, it's possible a sniper set up an autoclicker on the name, which has high odds of beating a manual transfer.

To be fair, that's your responsbility as a MM. You need to make sure the trade is clear and know exactly what is going on. You need to ask if they're transferring or not. You also need to make sure they know how to transfer one efficiently, and if not, to teach them/direct them on how to do so.

 

If they were moving to a fresh account, I'd have gladly shown them a way to take it quickly. However when moving from one main to another, there's not a lot that can be done. Before the trade, they made it clear to me that Ghost was selling an RSN and it was the other party's job to take the name. I told Ghost before the move to make sure the other party was ready before he moved, which he did. I make my buyers decide on snipe responsibility in all middleman trades I do. It's just common sense for these types of trades.

You have a lot to learn about name sales. If somebody knows the name is moving, in all likelihood they're going to snipe it. The only way around this is to be fast with your xfers, or keep the name you're selling as your previous for about a week. It's more likely he took his own RSN back for a free 30m 07, and I won't be wasting my time with this thread. This was a free middleman trade that he obviously took advantage of.

PS: The RSN "Animals" you bought from me was released with the RS name release the a majority of the rest of my names. ALL name traders with a respectable business sell names on fresh accounts.

 

It took maybe 20 seconds from the other guy's first name change to the final, he announced it in the discord. I can't know 100% whether or not you jipped me, but it sure seems unlikely as hell that within seconds it was sniped.

20 seconds is far too long, believe me lol it needs to be instant or else you're fucked if someone is watching.

You say "within seconds" you realise how many times you can attempt to claim a name in one second let alone a few, the odds of being sniped are fairly high as you have unfortunately found out.

 

Well to be fair, I wasn't the slow one. I was spamming the name in Rs3 even before the guy made the change, just in case. So there's not much on my end i could've done more.
