Where business titans meet white knight tyrants; a clash of eternity.
“Millionaire” site owners meet keyboard warriors; a tug-of-war, consistently.
A harmony of major monopolies, drama engulfing anomalies.

Power hungry leaders and troll inducing bumbum feeders.
Richard and his minions? We want adverse opinions.
Corruption in its roots yet we let them grow into fruits.
Development team voting and entrants screaming, a nightmare in my vision, gleaming.

A slithering voice coming from deep in the shadows,
Come, come, Uncle Mootrucks will show around the meadows.
You follow the mysterious man and work your way around the maze, you’ll run into lot of familiar faces.
An army of trigger happy moderators freezes, staring at free mod score, races.
Report a vader warriors in the back creepin’, in a moment’s notice, leapin’.

Continue in the maze you’ll find yourself in a haze,
Haze so cloudy, you find your visions blurring; tripping and skipping into the rowdy report a scammer section, confused by the mighty banners of the sticky shippin’.
“All aboard the mothership,” the captain yells.
“Walk carefully on the old plank, it is susceptible to brittle!
Or you’ll become a blasphemous, banned, spam forum celebrity giggle.”

The clash between tyrants and colored-named titans with massive erections is never ending,
Popcorn supplying itself; movie membership, always extending.
The captain approaches,
From the shadows and the depths of hell; Seraphic.
He whispers while holding a handful of annoying reports, grinning,

“Burton!”. Terence shouted as hard as he could. “Someone help us!”, “Burton!” he continued.

Just a minute ago they were peacefully making their way back home, talking about their night at Emily’s party, till they fell a breeze over their shoulders as if someone silently ran over to them with tremendous speed and stopped right before running them over. Both Burton and Terence turned around immediately, knowing something was off. They however saw nothing.

“Look at you acting like a scared pussy” grinned Burton. Terence grinned back at Burton and told him to shut up and keep walking. Terence just turned around to continue walking when he heard the most gruesome sound he ever heard. It was the sound of human flesh and bones being crushed with incredible force.

Terence turned around and he saw Burton lying on the floor. Terence screamed, Burton’s body looked like a herd of elephant trampled him. A part of his skull was shattered, one of his arm was flattened and his entire lower body was spread out over the street. For a short moment of time he tried to help Burton, but soon he realised his friend wasn’t alive anymore and he felt the breeze over his shoulder again.

Terence started running as fast as he could, in the panic he didn’t pay attention to where he was going. “I just have to get away as quickly as possible” Terence though. He looked behind him and saw nothing. While turning his head back he saw something dark flashing away in the corner of his eyes. He turned his head quickly but again didn’t see anything.

Breeze after breeze now touched Terence as he started to see more and more movement in the corner of his eyes, which were gone when looking straight at them. He turned right at a corner, because of his sheer panic he didn’t notice he went in a dead end. It didn’t take long for Terence to realise the mistake he made. He sat down against the fence blocking the pathway and started crying in desperation.

With his eyes blurry because of the tears he couldn’t see what was coming. Maybe for the better. 100 meters, 50 meters, 10 meters… Terence screamed as he fell something grabbing him, starting to crunch his body. It didn’t take long for Terence to pass out from the pain while the creatures of the dark feasted on his body.

Halloween has always been the favorite time of the year for Benjamin. The little guy was now old enough to go spend the night alone with his friends instead of having to walk houses with his parents.

He lived in the countryside so there wasn't a lot of house around so they had to knock at every houses in order to gather the more candies as possible. When Benjamin spent the Halloween night with his parent, they made sure the little boy would avoid houses that weren't decorated. But this year was different as he was alone with his friends and felt for the first the feeling of freedom.

Fred, one of Benjamin's friend, decided to settle things before they start their run.

"Do we all agree on knocking at every door this year even though it's not a decorated house?" he said, confident.

Jim, the oldest, nodded with a side smile.

Benjamin on the other hand, wasn't too sure about the idea and remained silent.

Tom, the last boy, jumped out of joy as it was also the first time he would spend the Halloween run alone.

So the 4 boys started to walk around and of course, the first house they see wasn't decorated. They all suddently felt shook and looked at eachothers.

"I'll go" said Jim, fearless.

As the boy approached the house, he noticed there were decorations inside and the door was half opened. He heard strange noises inside and suddently felt a cold air flow. Excited, Jim thought it would be cool to enter as it looked pretty much like a typical haunted halloween house.

"Come on guys, this is some kind of a haunt-...."

The boy couldn't even finish his sentence that he was instantly grabbed inside and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Frightened, the 3 youngsters ran away as fast as they could and they never looked back. Their halloween party finished as fast as it started.

They obviously couldn't sleep at all that night.

In the morning, Benjamin would see on television: "14 year old boy found dead in a so-called haunted house", the same house that had been abandoned earlier this year because of bankruptcy.

Just going to point out i completely forgot to vote for the hween costume comp. bt gz @Laurie deserves that win all tha natural hair.

I was the weeping widow this hween was good.

Also buyacc as u can see i voted on the storys and forgot to vote on costumes so it may not be a cheat people can adv one thread and forget the other.

I still agree with my votes gens one wasnt so much a "story" but a poem. And your story was more creepy then the chris dudes. P.s didnt vote for demon girl cos we had one in our house and tbh shes generic in that story even if she was real.

Anywho gz kids well done nice stuff, wheres the monthly?

 

CDT is a joke lol, allowing obvious cheating in the Spooky Story competition. Theyre biased as hell as well, doubt they even went and looked into the case.

You're just conveniently forgotting the fact that it wasnt some votes gradually over the timespan that the voting was over. There were 12 votes added within the few hours right before the event ended, without anyone posting about it and without the other thread getting any votes. Taking into consideration that before those 12 votes came in, there were 3 days with 0 votes being added, you can see its very likely that someone made 12 accounts and voted for #6 12 times. Let me also remind you that 12 votes on the greater scale probably means that like 40% of the votes that were made were made with those 12 votes.

But I guess with it being allowed in this event I should just make a dozen accounts for the next voting as well cuz hey, CDT doesnt care right?

 

We did look into the case and
we do care. I believe Shin explained to you already.

Although I do agree it is strange that entry #6 got 12 votes out of nowhere in a span of one day, we simply can not prove someone made accounts solely for voting on entry #6 (chris888's entry). Even with the help of admins, we can not trace who voted on which.

We are however using this as an example for future events -> changing the way things are voted on. I.e must provide an explanation for their vote.

Congratulations on third place nevertheless.

 

I messaged Island about this case earlier. I also said that the votes seemed a bit dodgy due to the popular amount of votes added. Additionally I had messaged a few people on my skype list from sythe to go vote for my story (obviously). I dont want anyone to think that I had somehow rigged the competition as this would make it unfair.

 

You are not allowed to tell people to vote for your story hence they're put into voting anonymously. I'll have to talk to the rest of CDT as the results will have to be revisited.

 

Updated the top 3 winners for spooky story as entry 6 is disqualified after a discussion with CDT.

Congrats @Buyacc on 2nd place and @Zero on 3rd place.

 

Just to make CDT's life a bit easier. I already got the minirank for the story competition from last year.
