    For our Bi monthly, we have decided to interview @Gen who is the newest addition to the upper staff team with his promotion to Global Moderator.


    What was your first reaction when you were promoted to global? Were you expecting it?

    As a sectional, I tried my best to prove myself capable of handling different situations on Sythe as staff. I worked hard to get promoted, but didn't expect it so soon as there are other great hard-working candidates as well. I was extremely happy and grateful for the opportunity.

    How do you feel your duties have changed, have you dropped off time in other areas of Sythe to focus on your new duties (ex CDT)?

    Quite honestly, I think I spend even more time now working on building the community than I did before. Apart from the usual daily staff duties, I'm currently working on:

    -OSRS discord, Admin there, active giveaways etc
    -Actively participating in CDT related subjects
    -League/OW verifier

    What is your opinion of the current “State of Sythe” Where do you think the site has the opportunity to grow or improve?

    I'm content with how the site is currently.
    It has a lot of potential to grow. An example would be the current Sythe Gold suggested projects (under suggestions) in which hopefully, will come to life. Another example would be to ride the wave of current growing games such as Fortnite, but that may be a little late now. (Lets hope for another game of this sort to come along soon!)

    What’s one thing you think users need to know about you?

    I'm pretty down to earth and i'm always down to talk about anything. Nothing really gets me mad other than league of legends and overwatch.

    Where do you see yourself on Sythe in 6 months?

    Perhaps still in CDT and taking lead on some PR projects such as merging OSRS discord with Sythe. Hopefully still staff!

    Which area of moderating do you think you excel at?

    I think I'm pretty evenly spread out when it comes to moderating. I am confident with pardons, disputes, reports as well as being a "people person" and having direct conversations with users in need of my support.
