Eh new one

Hey guys just did this for SOTW over at Rune-Tips the theme was nature. Its my first in months and i dont like it much so im just here for C&C

It just looks blotchy imo =\ 4/10

 

Thats a filter i used,oil marks or something.

filters don't make a good signature most of the time. There are few filters I use frequently.

For improvement on this image:
Try some gradient maps Image>Adjustments>Gradient Maps, lighting effects Filter>Render>Lighting Effects (one I do use), and if you want to keep that spotlight effect you have, use the Omni setting, and with the text, try using some blending options and a different font/style.

I'd like to see your next attempt, if possible.

 

I'll definitly do another one im gonna get back into gfx haha.


Edit: Quick question,to make some of an image black nd white and some color do i have to indivdually select and change the sections?
