Hmm, what do you think the intentions of the delivery man were?

 

The delivery man was OBVIOUSLY trying to get mod.

...But in all seriousness, I would believe his reason I guess: what would you do if you saw/smelt that someone was doing drugs around a child?

just goes to show that some ppl think that weed is a terrible thing that causes danger to its user and those around them.


the delivery man should be fired for invasion of privacy and for calling the cops before even addressing the issue.

it would be like if i called the cops on someone for target shooting before checking if they have a license or if they are shooting legally.

Do you have the slightest idea what you're talking about? In what way is reporting the smell of marijuana smoke an invasion of privacy? The latter part of your post is also a terrible suggestion. Not only would his engaging in a skirmish be completely unprofessional, but he could create a situation in which the child is in more danger than before.

 

It's nice to see a caring citizen who is concerned for the wellbeing of children, tbh that guy took things a little over the top... You notice how the cops left the guys house because the guy had a permit? Things might have gone down different if he did not have a permit, however the cops would have removed the child regardless of whether the guy had a permit or not had the child been in any serious danger being around marijuana smoke.

For all we know, the 9 year old kid tokes too

I'm sorry, your acting like when drugs are taken, the brain stays just as it was before? No, this is not the case. I'm not sure what the hell the man was doing smoking marijuana with his 9 year old in the house, medicinal or not. Do you want someone whose high taking care of your child? No, and it should be the same for this child. If you answered yes to that question, i hope you don't plan on having one.

The pizza boy did a fine job, props to him. And props to PaPa Johns for not being a pussy to the media and standing up for the poor kid, charges or not, you know the cops were disgusted.

If the delivery man noticed that the house smelled of pot, then I guess that the father was smoking everywhere, whether the child was there or not <=if this doesnt' make sense, can somebody correct it for me?

In my opinion, the problem isn't that the delivery guy called the police.
The problem was that the man was smoking in the presence of a child. He should have done his business in a private room so that the child could not be affected by it. It's bad parenting.

And sure I guess doing it in a private place where it wouldn't affect other would be the right thing to do.

 

These misconceptions of weed give it such a bad name.

 

This is stupid. It's like if you saw an adderall pill bottle in their house. Why immediately assume it's being abused? sad.

 

Apparently marijuana now makes you a less competent parent? If anything I'd be more opt to take care and deal with a child high, not so much sober. And I'm not even a pot head.

 

because pills dont have direct second hand harms.

 

At least the Delivery man cared about the welfare of the child.

 

They don't unless easily accessible by others. I don't recall the delivery guy seeing any weed.
