I am arguing with all my "friends" on facebook though, I feel sad.

 

I'm Canadian, yet extremely happy to see Obama win.

 

I predicted this long ago, just gotta hope for a better future.

 

Nate Silver has predicted all of the states correctly (at least if the ones that are still toss ups go Obama). He also said Virginia would flip towards Obama late and it did. He hasn't won yet but I think he will. Nate Silver is fucking epic.

It was exciting to watch. I was sure Romney had it in the bag with his sweep of ALL of central US, but Obama pulled ahead and won by a mile with the larger states; california, ohio, etc.

They wouldn't have had 60 in the Senate so the GOP could have filibustered every bill. It's only really scary when they get house + white house + 60 in the senate.

 

I hope your universal healthcare turns out well. I really do. I also hope Obama can truly 'save the economy' this time round. I really do. To be quite honest though, I think things will still get worse, starting with universal healthcare.

 

At least obama doesn't plan to do away with financial aid though. I literally live off of FAFSA and college aid.
