So i recently bought a 1998 Pontiac Firebird, I have done a few upgrades like exhaust system and air intake. I was just wondering does anyone know a good car build to follow or have any of there own i just want it to be fast an loud to be honest.

I would do a mild build like you have started maybe a cam too how much power are you going for? Is it an ls1 or lt1?

Often with those types of engines you can run a reliable forced induction set up which realistically will be a big bang for your buck.
If you can push anywhere over 400 horsepower on that vehicle it would be considered to be fast enough in my opinion.

If you want something mild, do your full exhaust, induction system, fuel system, air, throw a tune on it get it running right. It'll
    be a fun torquey thing

I used to build Honda because they are cheap, quick, and reliable but they aren't fast, more of your off the light vehicles.

Many people say do a cam first with bolt-ons.

Don't you need to tune these vehicles if you start throwing internals in?

Yeah you will need to do a tune if you do a cam, but it isn't that big of a job to get some extra power depending on the motor. I have an 06 GTO and I did a pretty good size cam and drove it to the tuner and it stalled at every redlight lmao

Right now I’m driving a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium with a 2l turbo with a k and n cold air intake, Livernois 93 octane tune, turbosnart bov and Cobb rmm and it makes around 320hp to all wheels

First, do a full bolt-on & tune, then decide what to do next. That'll give you the most power.

Could always just supercharge the thing and tune it with some high boost and hope it doesn't blow up l0l
