sythe safety

hey guys, I am new to sythe and I'm working towards securing my account.
I recently got my computer hacked into I believe, and I'm trying to make certain steps as to securing my account.. how can I do this on sythe?

Other than that just make sure you have a good password and don't click any fishy links. Good luck

As an IT professional, when end users tell me "oh I think my computer is hacked", 99.999% of the time, something else happened.
When it comes to Runescape, vast majority of "hacks" are through either data breaches, social engineering, or you downloaded something you shouldn't have (such as a fake version of Runelite or OpenOSRS, botting softwares, etc.) and put your login details into it.
The concept of someone "hacking into your computer" is very 2002, and doesn't really exist. While yes, it's absolutely possible, it's not really something that happens as often as people think. People that are actually capable of abusing exploits and such, generally target businesses or something with more profit than one specific individual.

All this said, obviously @Devil provided you with the correct information as far as securing your Sythe account - however, you should ensure ALL of your accounts are using 2-factor authentication, most importantly your email.
