Okay, lets have a hypothetical discussion.

You have a website that acts as middle man and the website claims it "guarantees that the seller will deliver your order, or your money back"

Except roughly 5-7% of orders are not delivered. Even though the seller claims 100% of orders are delivered.

So you open a dispute. You didn't receive anything but now the burden of proof is on your shoulders to prove that you Did NOT receive your order.

Even though the website clearly states "we guarantees that the seller will deliver your order, or your money back"

Since it's nearly impossible to prove that something did not happen in games, you lose all the money you paid.

If you open a legal or paypal dispute they will suspend you from their website with all access. Even though you did nothing wrong, you just wanted them to fullfil their guarantee.

So how many times does this same situation have to re-occur before the website is banned from promoting on sythe and the user account is also banned ?

IF they rip off 100 people a year, is that enough?

I'm assuming your talking about player auctions,
they are only on sythe because of this thread Playerauctions Issues Resolution Thread
Where they answer people questions and stuff, they don't advertise or anything like that, that's the only reason their account is here but with that being said... I can see where your coming from, but there no point in banning them since they do try help on sythe,

also how you prove you didn't receive anything is you simply showing you trying to contact the guy and nothing happening if you tells you to meet him some where meet him in place were he tells you but record to grantee your safety

    and finally @Wortel Wrong section?

It's always smart to record/screen the live chat.

If you don't receive your order, you can file a scam report.

Now the recorded video/screen shots come handy,
however mod can (and will) request history of the live chat.
The website MUST provide them with the requested history.
Most of the mods have experiences with live chat and know,
that you can get an IP, so it's really easy to see if the gold was delivered, or not,
as sites ask for a confirmations from their customers.

I dont understand, not all sights use live chat and mods do not have access to ingame logs or ip addresses. Also why would the burden of proof be on a seller? IRL we have tracking numbers and records of deliveries, gps coordinates, package weights. All of which is the sellers proof of delivery.

If you think playerauctions themselves scammed you, I would encourage you to report them

    Honestly Imo,
Why should we have to deal with the problems they have?
As op States alot of people don't get refunded what so ever, So Basically they scam.
Why are they allowed to be on these forums for? Sythe should have no affiliation with those scammers what so ever.
Just like anyone els on this site they get banned for scamming with not being able to come back to these forums.
Picture this, Lets use @Bogla for an example. A very successful website. If they were to scam a member of the sythe. Should we let them stay here? just so they can awnser problems regarding bogla site?
NO. Ban them and get rid of those scumbags. @video
