Cant get avatar to work as a render

No matter what render i upload into my avatar it always has this ugly white background around it.


Anyway to avoid this?
Im bad with gfx so yea

 

You need to make the background transparent.

 

How do i do that?

Make sure when you open it in photoshop, the background is empty. Then save it as a png which will enable transparency on the forums or anywhere you use the image.

 

The background layer is often locked by default. To remove the lock, double click on it.
