Community Supoort - Disappoint.

Heavily disappointed with the Community Support application speed and attention it's given.

Applications have been sitting there, either in pending or the initial posting phase for weeks and weeks. Don't mean to be snide, but either the people running the section are inactive / busy; meaning we need a few more people to lend a hand in that department. Seems obsolete if only FishFishy is tending to that section - from what i have seen; seems that way.

Anyway, long story short - hopefully the Community Support section will prosper, providing applications are looked at and dealt with.

My application as been sitting there for 3 weeks.

 

Or.. maybe it's because they don't need more Community Support staff members?

If you read the sticky, you need to PM FishFishy or Finn(preferably both) to move your applications to Pending.

I got mine done, moved to pending and accepted in a few days.

 

Im in the same line with Tux, it was moved to Pending 10mins after i pmed FishFishy about it, took 7 days to get accepted.

Maybe the fact that you are temp banned constantly makes it take longer then usually.

 

Have you PMed the ones in charge? If not, that's the reason why.

You've been temp. banned constantly which'll reduce the fact of acceptance, let alone it pending.

 

I still haven't heard from Fish. Kinda hoping to hear I'm pending or added.

 

Don't worry guys, if there's a problem, it will be addressed. Just be a little bit more patient with us.

 

Likewise, it would not have been sitting idle for three weeks if you had PM'd the head CS assistant?

 

Fishy is very prompt and acts quickly, however it is not his job to read every application everyday to wait for a little green complete to move it to pending. It is up to the applicant to decide when his or her application is done and then to PM a HCA to get it moved, this is clearly stated in the stickies.

About the voting, most are voted and decided upon in under a week so I don't see what the problem is with that.

Also Fishy is NOT the only one active in the section. It may seem like that because he is the only one that can move applications but it isn't true.

I attend to application as quickly as I possible can. Lately I have had many applications and not that much time to go through them. I am doing the best I can as of now to process the applications, and I will get faster and better over time as I begin to get more of an idea on what i'm doing. Along with this, I like to allow ALL CS members to put their ideas out on voting threads. Sometimes this can take time, and also debates on whether or not the applicant should be accepted onto the team or not sometimes form and this can take time as well.

Also as for your application being moved (DJweasel's as well) you only sent me a pm asking for me to get on msn and talk to you. PLEASE if you want your application to simply be moved just send a request in via private message and it will be done as soon as I receive it. As for DJ I know that you were asking for advice/had questions about your application, and I'm sorry as i've been pretty busy and haven't had time to get on MSN.

If you're talking about applications sitting in the application sub-forum, where else are they suppose to sit? Individuals who have complete applications are suppose to PM Fishy to have their application moved to pending. From there, everyone would then vote on it.

When I applied, it took 24-36hours to have my application moved to pending..

 

The process is fine, if you PM fishy it will be added to pending. The only application I've seen where it took a while was when Fishy sincerely apologized for the delay.

If your application has been sitting there for 3 weeks, then like everyone has said, you should of PMed the Head UE to move it for you. Otherwise how is Fishy going to know when someone has or hasn't finished their application?
