Cannot connect to update server...

Every time I click on a world it says I can't connect to the update server etc. blah blah blah. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and how to fix it.

Don't say anything trying to make me sound stupid or I'm doing something wrong because it's never done this before until now...maybe it's something to do with the new updates?

 

Could be your graphics card, or perhaps you do not have the latest version
of java?
