Can you safely sell an account and ensure Jagex doesnt ban the account?

If this is true ive quickly written down a summary of this method to keep the account safe but i need to know if it is actually neccessary ...

EDIT: ps in this situation im imagining a two way trade if both people trust each other. Also, the reason im asking is because if the buyer buys an account, logs in excitedly and then tries to recover isnt it obvious?

 

You can, if it has like more as 10 ip's on it they going to watch on u. else it's just safe i guess.

You can never "safely" sell an account. There's always going to be a risk.

 

Unless they specifically check the IPs that have been on your account, you should be safe.

 

They check IP's in almost every recovery, it's even recomended to put the address you created your account from in the recov process so really just having them log on won't do much. It'll look like 2 different locations are accessing the account at around the same time from 2 distant (usually) computers... I'm surprised Jagex hasn't come up with something just to watch the IP address changes. As stated above, there is always a risk in illegal trading.

 

It is just a 'bot' that checks all accounts lol.

They notice the HUGE difference in the IP's and so lock your acc.

 

Usually, The account isn't locked unless you swiftly change IPs from a great distance. Sell the account, The buyer loggs onto the website to change pass and recovs, Waits to log onto game till' the next day. Greatly decreases the risk of being locked.
