Can you match this?

So here is the assignment.

Write a poem using words from a excerpt from a story of some sort. Then, match the mood, tone, or anything rather, to a song of your choice.

I have the poem done, but am having trouble picking a song.

Here is the poem.

Why so weary
Hot with fiery
A noble truth yet untold
Rain falling fast oh so cold
A fountain of hate
Use another for bait
Draw them in
Rip their skin
A splash of pain
A soul to drain
A king so greedy
And ever so needy
Fight with passion
Forget your ration
A blood stained field
We will never yield

Firstly, how is the poem.

Third, guess what grade I am in.

The song can be ANYTHING.. nothing too vulgar though, and on top of that, it does NOT have to have lyrics.

if your having to much trouble matching the poem to a song try just finding a song then writing a poem to relate to both the book and the song.

nice poem but i would change "hot with fiery" to hot with fury
and as for a song you could try searching xray dog on youtube and listening to some of their songs cause one of them might fit this

It's medieval sounding, as is your poem. And it's just instrumental so no lyrics will interrupt your poems words. I think it fits nicely :huh:
