99 Cooking - fishing the supplies?

Hai guys
i'm tempted to get 99 Cooking, but fishing all the fishies

IDK what method, or how long it'll take.. i'm 53 fishng + 50 cooking, so if you guys could tell me which fish to fish, to cook, and all that.

This is going to take you a long time. You're better off just power training each skill. I think salmon/trout is the fastest exp for fishing.

and what do you mean 'powertraining' each skill; please elaborate

 

With powertraining he means that you drop your fish instead of banking it. He suggests to reach 99 fishing first, and then focuss on cooking (or first cooking and then fishing)

but tbh I was thinking, using the fish from fishing to get cooking will allow me to train cooking w/ no loss but profit.
unless cooking gives u profit anyway?

I'm pretty sure that cooking gives more xp than fishing, so by time you have 80 fishing you should have around 88 cooking. I'd personally just fish to a level where you've got enough value where you can sell the cooked product and buy raw, and keep buying/selling until you are level 99.

 

I would personally powerfish salmon/trout, and then cook lobs/sharks for 99 cooking.. I believe you would make a copious amount from cooking shark

 

ah right, thanks guys, but my main focus is 99 cooking, fishing isn't too much of a priority, but if u can profit from cooking, I may just cook only.
but I wanted to fish the fish as it sounds much more fun

also how long would it take to fish 60kish lobbies?
from 53 fishing, bear in mind as I fish more, my levels will go up
