Depression.

I am 13 years old and I have thoughts of killing myself, this is in the SFA forum because I'm wondering what is the cause of depression. Mine would be girl troubles but like what really causes us to get some depressed we think hell would be nicer than this Earth?

well the main thing is when you are a teenager your hormones are going crazy which makes you depressed in some cases. How ever you can control them easily, turn the depression into hate or somthing and really really work yourself up about somthing so you get pumped and than use that to work out etc. its working well for me and you may call me emo but who cares atleast who ever thinks about calling me emo will think of the consiquences (as working out makes you buff they wont want to fuck around with you, happens to me all the time, its actually quite funny how they go to call me a fag or somthing than stop and walk away lol)

 

Find something funny, think about the bright side, or scare yourself by thinking what happens after you die.

 

Yeah i had tons of suicide thoughts but in the end i think of my freinds and loved ones..

 

I know you're banned, but this is kind of stupid. As a 13 year old, there's no way you can understand the deeper meanings of just about anything. Stop being a whiney little bitch and just think about what your death will change [family and shit]. If the answer's nothing, then meh. You probably don't have the balls to kill yourself anyways. You dont have to be so fucking mean to her. If you were to kill yourself think of the impact it will have on your loved ones. I've had suicidal desires and I'm 13 aswell. I think of my loved ones and feel loved

Talk to someone about it. Mainly your parents if they will support you. Otherwise a teacher or friends.

 

Well man listen you just need to think to yourself "Hey, it cant be as bad as I think", right? Girl troubles? Dude no offence but complete BS. You will find a girl, trust me. Im 16, and I never had a girlfriend until just now. She's actually the girl that I've liked for over a year. You just need to keep at it, you'll find the right one. So yeah, basically just think of happy thoughts, and always remember that NOTHING that could be happening to you is worse then death..

 

I think we all have thought about it before. So I don't think there's anyreally wrong with you. Just think of the people you would be hurting if you did.

well, to be honest, i just think you are depressed becouse you lack life experience enough to encounter a breakup etc. as time grows, the depression should stop if you just stop thinking about it and live your life like normal.

I dad was in depression and commited a suicide..
And I haven't ever been in depr.

 

or he's posting this for attention, sure we all experience depression at some times, but we don't make it public to strangers, thats something people resort to when they are seeking out attention

Dont worry mate. its about Teenagers... when your a Teen that shit just happens. and to prevent it. talk about it to someone.

 

You should get help.

 

See the guidance counsellor at your school or talk to someone close to you.

Also, Girl troubles at the age of 13 and your thinking of suicide? Very stupid, At the age of 13 you really can't have "girl troubles". Your only a child, Welcome to the world of Horomones.

When I was 13, I wanted to get laid so bad.
3 years later - I did. And it wasn't as exciting as everyone says.

Try talking to your best friend, someone you trust, someone who can understand what you're going through and can try to help you through it.

 

yeah thats what i do. i get depressed sometimes a so does one of my friends. the rest of them dont even know we get depressed, along with my parents who dont know, and all my relatives. my brother was about to go get in his car and drive away when he had been depressed for about 6 hrs and my dad was at the bar and i called him and he said hed be home in a couple hours. instead of right then. both parents poor and dumb as fuck.
