Can somebody fill me in on RID? A quick summary?

Why has it been down so long?

Went down because ban rate got high, and RiD is basically re-writing everything from the ground up.

 

Close, but not exactly. The development of Genesis is more of a proactive approach. The bans that occurred were from an open beta (which is the first open beta ever offered by RiD), and low-probability events. RiD users got caught in the crossfire when J Mods did manual sweeps of the major Divination areas, and even legitimate players were banned too.

Again, Genesis is a proactive approach and is designed to be a futureproof platform. All the bots were taken down because maintaining them AND developing a complete replacement would mean it would take way too long to develop. If it's taken nearly a year of development while being his only project, you can imagine the time it would take if he also had to perform maintenance on over 17 other products.

It went down initially because of detection issues ever since its just been speculation and a possible ponzi scheme. I'd abstain from buying anything from them until the bot is out. Thats just what I'd do with my hard earned anyway
