Can Skype usernames still be resolved for ip's?

And if so, what can you do to prevent this?

I did see this however when attempting to resolve my own Skype name none of them seem to work anyway. So was wondering if this was patched.

I just recently purchased a Macbook and on the preference/connection options there seems to still be a box where you can select "direct connections to my contacts only" which leads me to believe if you're connecting on Skype via Macbook you may still be at risk.

Im connected through a mac, and unless the sites I googled don't work/are broken which is likely, my IP is not being resolved/displayed.
