Can jagex detect/ban you for this?

my friend pays for my mems via pay by phone every month ( since i gave him 2m stuff in gaia online). but now i'm wondering if they can find out it's not you that is paying for the membership, and is it against the rules? (since i haven't seen anything saying you couldn't in rules, only in the "become a member" section in the main pagee)

I haven't heard that anyone has gotten banned for buying pins. Maybe Jagex allows it, cause they get more $ that way.

i think they can tell but i don't think they will ban, unless you do something stupid or your friend gets pissed off at you and sells you out to them / calls it in as a false charge.
