appealing a ban

so one of my accounts got banned in april of 2008 for rule 7... macroing or w\e... i was using an auto typer and i got a perm ban for that. i have no other offenses against my account besides the breaking of rule 7. i tried my last chance appeal and they denied it. i tried sending in querys to get it looked at but nothing happens... and now i cant send anything to jagex.

i heard that every year jagex removes 1 black mark.. and i currently have 10.0 of 10.0... so if this happens id have 9.0 of 10.0... would i be given a second chance or am i hopeless.

any feedback is appreciated

 

I don't think they remove 1 black mark per year, but I could be wrong.

If that's confirmed, then maybe after 1 year they'll let you appeal again.

 

no, i think you still have some chances, i know people who have like 15 blackmarks.

 

I don't think they remove a blackmark every year. I remember that one year a couple years ago all accounts got unbanned for some reason or something. But they ended up with 6.0 blackmarks which was called a legacy punishment. My acc was perm banned but ended up with the legacy punishment. I think RS got had a rollback or something. I'm not sure at all but that's what happened.

But for you, I'm not sure if you'll get another chance. I think they do state that they won't answer any queries about the status of the account after the last chance appeal is denied. So good luck.

 

If the last chance appeal is denied, the only thing you can do is to make a new account and rant on the RSOF about how Jagex made a mistake and you should get your account back.

Other than that, you're basically screwed.

 

They dont remove any black marks, your on a permanent ban.
Appeals to Jagex are worthless, there in it for the money, they do not care if you were banned falsely or not, no point in that really!

 

you have to make the account locked and then when u unlock it all black marks are gone!
