    Refurbished computer?

It is better than what you have I, but that is hugely overpriced.
    I just built this computer-

    For $400.
This $400 computer blows that computer out of the water in every single way.

I'd stay away from eMachines, they all seem to be flimsy ripoffs. I'd spend a bit more money and go with something better.

    Refurbished computer?

Including a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and windows 7 operating system?
Please show me how to do that, because I desperately want to know.
Just for fun, I put together the crappiest computer I could that just barely beats this one on newegg, and it came to $377, not including the monitor.

Honestly, if you want to spend the money on a good PC, you gotta build it yourself. It isn't hard, there's videos on how to do so on youtube. Find good parts and you could get a really badass PC for under $600. I mean you can run any game you want.

    Refurbished computer?

Bad processor, not for gaming whatsoever.

RAM - 3gb - not nearly enough to bot and do other stuff. Its honestly under 40$ to get 8gb of ram nowadays. And decent speed stuff too.

Hard drive: 1tb is good, but probably a low RPM drive but not a huge deal breaker.

No info about motherboard, power supply or anything. Seems really seedy to me.

    Bad monitor, probably a 5$ mouse/keyboard etc.

All up these parts are probably worth ~150-200 even brand new. So you're paying a little more than what it's worth, probably for a very slight upgrade.

So instead, build one yourself. Or if you have access to a local computing forum, surely they will have a second hard/parts sale forum in which you could land a really nice deal. At least you know it's coming from good hands, instead of "refurbished" which could mean anything :s

I've said it many times before, if you cheap out on computers then you're just going to run into many problems and have them outdated very quickly. If you just save up some bucks and buy something semi decent, you won't need to upgrade every 1-2 years. It works out even in the end. Just save up for something better, honestly.

    Refurbished computer?

For reference, refurbished usually means it's just been on display in a store or was taken out of the box at some point. It'll be in full working order. Make sure there's a warranty on it though.

    Refurbished computer?

Both of them are outdated, why don't you just build something new, if you only have $400 right now you could just buy the parts and get a monitor later. I just sold an e5800 with 4gb no hdd for $60.. Don't waste your money on antiquated technology.

And they may have a warranty but do they have a return policy? If you need help building a computer I can throw something together for you on newegg, just let me know what you need and price range; i.e. do you want keyboard, mouse, monitor, case, psu, hdd, everything else?
