Can I boost for quest req's?

Hey Can I boost the skills required for some of the quests for TaS (temple at sennistien) I am asking this because rs wiki says you can't and runehq says you can't answer asap as I really don't want to get 61 agility. thx in advance

I don't believe the boosts work for TaS.

 

so I can boost stats fro quests tyvm can I boost other skills like range mining etc.?

 

Well for every skill there are some boosts..
But I can't garantee you that boosting in the quest is allowed.. Normally it should be!

ranged boosts:
Ranger's aid
+2
Purchased at the Poison Arrow Pub.

Ranger's aid (m)
+3
Purchased at the Poison Arrow Pub.

Ranging potion
+4 to +13

Extreme ranging
+4 to +23

Overload
+4 to +23

 

i'm going to try it out as some people said I could (those people are in-game) I'm just asking the sythe community to make sure.

 

Well barely any quest has limitations in skill boasting (and I did quite a few )
So I'd say i'm 90%+ sure that you'll be able to boost them!

Boosting all depends on the quest, some quests you are able to use boosts and others you are not able to. If RS WIKI and RuneHQ both say you can't, then you can't mate

 

rs wiki says you can while runehq says you can it's confusing

I tried it, and it didn't work for me. You have to have the actual required levels.

 

It depends. If you can start the quest without all the required skills, chances are you are going to be able to boost the skill when the time comes (see RFD - Awowogei), however if you need the levels to start the quest, you won't be able to boost it (see Legend's Quest).

 

Some quests you can boost, some you can't. If I remember correctly from when I was doing all those quests for Temple, most of them did not accept the boost.

 

Do you mean one can and one can't? Which one says that you can't? From memory I think you need to get the level 61 agility, and from a quick Google search it seems most websites are agreeing with my memory.

 

It'd be safer to just get the agil level.
