Can bank transfers be reversed?

Just curious.

 

Once you start the bank transfer, it cannot be undone.

Got the answer from another forum and majority of the people seems to have this common understanding.

 

They can be Reversed, Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise any payment method that has bank or card funding can be reversed, It's very rare that a transfer will get reversed but if it does your bank may cover the loss(es) depending on who you bank with.

Depends on the type of bank transfer made for a domestic transaction its every easy for the bank to follow up and hence unlikely to be reversed having said this with overseas transactions especially considering first time transactions its possible if the buyer says he doesn't know the beneficiary - hopes this helps

 

Yes they can be reversed, only safe ones are international wire transfers and even then it's possible if there was a large amount involved and was really unauthorized.
