can authenticator prevent recovery?

Ok so recently I've been looking at some accounts that I'm interested in buying but I fear that once I get it it'll just be recovered later on. I work really hard for my gp and knowing that it could all be taken away for nothing scares me. I look at the list of recovered accounts and there's so many and that only makes my insecurities worse. Now I want to ask whether having the authenticator on the account will prevent it from being recovered or is there a way around it. It would also be great if I could get replies from people that bought accounts and have had no issues with their accounts. Thanks for your time:laugh:
