Can anyone toss me a quick run down of staking?

I'm trying to stack a fuck load of cash and I want to make a good staking account..
What's the most popular type of staking account and what are some generally ideal stats for that type of account?
What methods do you use?
Do you have any tips?

Stats you want high str high hp

You can't X anymore so you need to stake vs weaker accounts only

Only way to know if an account if weaker than you is to have a staking calc which I just so happen to be selling 32.99$

Don't bother getting into staking, there's greener pastures out there

 

You are way too late to the game, but your best way of making money via staking is by using a rapier with a 99/99/99 acc (it's a grey area in the rules, if you don't advertise you are staking whip vs whip you won't get banned for it though - At the end of the day, it's still more fair than X'ing was).

I have 0 experience with non-maxed staking, so I couldn't comment on that. There probably still is money to be made in lower levels, if you have a certain edge vs players you are staking..

Whoever is saying you're to late into the game to make money staking is completely wrong. If you do a 100M stake and win,
you win 99M back, that's 99% profit. People whine and complain over 1% staking tax, it's nothing, and only 1% at 100M+.

Let's get to the point here. Staking is dangerous. You can have higher stats than someone, and still lose by a long shot because
the hits in RS are a random number generator. People try all sorts of different things to improve RNG (Random Number Generating)
but the RNG is still random. It's not even like rolling a dice, there are 1 in 5 chances on RNG.

Anyways, I would make an account around level 100 or just max an account in NMZ and go for the 50/50 chances against other maxed players.

 

I try to avoid staking. Whenever I go to that place I leave cleaned :L
