Scam report on: 'Runeblaze'

I just want to start off by saying until Runeblaze replies or fails to reply, I'm not exactly saying he scammed me as he could be busy IRL, at work or something else, however it's kinda weird how the account was locked and then I messaged Runeblaze, saw him online (viewing my profile actually) and no reply as of yet. I really didn't want it to come to this but I just need to know if I've been scammed or if this is an automated lock and the seller has given me incorrect information without knowing.

I need to know if I should start seeking action of possibilities of recovering funds and reporting the 07 account that took the 07 GP for real world trading as I'm not too bothered if my own account is banned at this point tbh.

If any more information is needed, please do contact me, I've blurred the name out of some SSes to possibly prevent an unnecessary ban IF this is just a misunderstandings, mods can PM me for the name if needed.

Explanation of the trade:

• The trade was supposed to be for a maxed Runescape 3 account for the sum of 210m (210,000,000) 07 GP.

How they scammed:

• Account was given, however, it seems the account is locked, recovery information doesn't work and the seller in question isn't responding.

Now, again, I'm only suspicious at this point as the email I had changed it to now returns 0 usernames under that email, not sure if this is cause of the RS account lock or if it's because the account was recovered and email was changed.

Sort of glad this happened as I'm willing to stop playing RS now and possibly seek legal methods of recovering the money I've spent, however, I'll probably be making a formal complaint on the Runescape 07 account I gave the GP to for real-world trading if this does turn out to be a scam. If my account gets banned, I'm not too bothered, but if I lose money then I may as well get the other member in question banned also.

What's suspicious is the fact the seller was viewing my profile earlier without responding to my questions in regards to the account being locked.



Yet no reply to my PM nor Skype. I'll let mods handle it from here, and hope to see a reply from Runeblaze as I assume this all may be a misunderstanding and an automated account lock with some information given incorrect. Cheers.

I have responded and i'm trying to resolve the issue.

 

I am unsure of why it got locked but he has the new registered e-mail so he should be able to unlock it but I am trying to assist him in whatever way I can. Hopefully get this resolved soon we do have a 5 hour time zone difference

 

Resolving with the seller now, seems like it was a misunderstanding this point!

The account has be successfully unlocked. Messages from Jagex in the message center said it was suspected that a third party accessed the account. I am assuming because I’m from America and he’s from the UK is what triggered this. All resolved now. He should be posting soon.

 

Yup! Big thanks to Runeblaze and honestly am sorry I posted this as he's such a nice lad and had no intentions to scam me.

Account has been resolved as it looks like Jagex it was just an automated lock, thread can be removed to hopefully remove any risk of information being leaked.
