C4D Text Sigs

As someone once said... 'If you can't beat them, join them' so I am going to start learning to do these 3d sigs like you guys. I would really like some good tuts that you guys used to learn. Please post links.

 

I suggest you messing around alot, as the tutorials on cinema4D text are very basic and aren't attractive looking at all.
Messing around worked the best for me, might work out the best for you, too.

What Kina and Chinese have said are true.

If you're looking specifically for a more advanced object (like I was curious on how to make a diamond in C4D), you can look up a tutorial on that.

If you're looking for inspiration, check out Deviant Art (and I believe there are a few other sites).

I use tutorials to get ideas, however my main idea usually varies from what the tutorial was originally intended for. I can give you examples a little later, but it's ~12AM here and I'm about to pass out.

Pretty much go to google and type in "C4D Tutorial Text" - skim through the pages and look for one that seems interesting to you. Again, I only use these for inspiration - I have been doing more wallpapers at the moment as well.

 

I am just looking for something that will teach me the basic functions of each button and such... Then from there I can usually figure stuff out... That is how PS and Ai worked for me. haha
