uhhh question about RWT, please read this could develop or fail

uhhh i was walking by Lumby and i saw the general store so i went in and i was like Dragon axe, sells for 22k in shop...why not just do shit like this for RWT, buy it for 67k or w/e and sell it for 3m, i mean think about it
has this been thought of or anything, ive been grounded for awhile so idk sorry if it has

 

Well I heard people tried this and the prices on items if you sell them they will be the same as grand exchange prices...

 

Although you might only get 22 GP as you said for selling it. If you try to buy it, you'd have to pay the market price from the Grand Exchange meaning this idea wouldn't work.

Do you think Jagex would actually leave a hole as big as that...

Yea posted before; its matched to the GE prices so it would be exactly the same as using the GE.

I read some older threads where guys traded their santas to general stores thinking it would be a great way to gain money...and they lost the santa. I dont mean they had to buy it back for mills, I mean they LOST the item!

 

i think this guy is on to something at a general store if you sold a santa hat or phat you would sell it for like 100gp but the problem is how do we know how much you have to rebuy it for has some one tested this?

dude i think i tried my santa a few weeks ago, it was like 44k in the store, no joke.

 

Too bad it's impossible to sell discontinued items to a general store, Jagex did it to prevent RWTing a long time ago, although it barely hindered RWTers, if any.
