Experience of programming on Mac?

Hi guys, long time no see
I'm going to buy a Mac Pro in a couple of days and I just wonder if there is someone here on sythe that has any experience of programming on a Mac...
I have been working on a PC but I'm changing to Mac cause it's better for stuff like 3DS Max and photoshop and this Mac Pro seems so totally great!
so, does anyone has any experience of any good IDE for c++/java (but you can mention for other languages too) and so on? and how is apples program called XCode?

But I wont leave PC and windows completely, I'll use Parallels so I can continue with C#...
