Bot Rig Recommendations Help

Hey all,

What are your recommendations for a bot rig build?

For say, small-level botting, in the range of 5-20 bots. For this you could just get a ton of used/cheap laptops or desktops and run at least one instance on the main computer, and then one on a virtual machine? How would you get VPN's for each one? (Paid vpn is fine)

And then what would you recommend for large scale botting, in the range of 50+ bots?

I've been doing a bit of research on it, and it seems like doing a local build (physical desktops/laptops) would be the best bet. RS isn't that resource heavy. How many instances of RS do you think you could run on a machine, and would that be on VM's or how would you implement it? Any thoughts on reducing the electricity cost? Would it be better to simply buy and implement a large server?

So, in conclusion, how would you go about starting a small-level bot farm (What hardware you would use, etc), and then any differences vs a large level farm.

Any advice or input is appreciated.

Would prefer to start small, then increase once success is seen. Do you think you could make recommendation for a smaller setup, and then what to do to expand?

Of course, if you think investing a larger amount upfront is optimal, i'm open to all suggestions.

Budget does not matter provided that the build is cost efficient for the number of bots.

 

I dont think you really need anything super special to run 07 at low detail. I bought a shit laptop off of craigslist and it runs 5 bots easily.

 

Rs07 doesn't need anything good to be run smoothly. Just make sure your .java scripts are up to date.
