    As opposed to Staunch's statement RUS Brink keys do not only require an IP from said countries to activate with Steam but also to play.

    Of course it isn't but thats additional hassle and running costs you got to keep in mind as a customer.
    Furthermore I guess not many people are interested in routing their packets around the world through some russian VPN server just to enjoy a fast paced FPS like Brink with considerable latency.
