What's a good iPod to video or AVI to Mp4 converter?

I put this in here instead of Tech Support since someone would hopefully know here.

I downloaded like 3 and none of them work.

Thanks,
Ethan

Well I don't know if you've tried either of these:

http://www.mymusictools.com/articles/how-do-i-convert-avi-to-mp4.htm

OR

http://www.jakeludington.com/ipod/20071120_convert_avi_to_ipod_compatible_mp4.html

They both have a step by step guide, hopefully they work.

I use dvdvideosoft free studio

everything from convertors
youtube > video audio ipod etc

i love it.
