The interesting term "U"

well, tonight I have been banned countless times from #sythe by saying the term "u" instead of the proper word "you."
Iv seen numerous people getting banned from this. I have gotten banned at least five times in the past 90 minutes or so. People in #sythe have been gracious enough to ban me, but now im currently banned, and won't be on the IRC anymore tonight.
I fully take responsibility for my actions of typing "U", but It's extreamly hard for people to type "you" when talking in a normal internet conversation. Now you may say "This isn't hard to do" well it is for some people who have been wasting their lives on the computer. I myself are only on at night and I get fresh air and i'm socially active with my peers, and community, but I have been a "internet obsesser" ever since I was first introduced to this marvelous thing we call the "world wide web" by my mother, who regrets it everyday
Enough about my life, and back on topic. Im writing this thread because of mostly my great frustrations of trying to have a conversation with someone in the channel #sythe, and not thinking and typing "U", I hope i don't get flamed and all this other junk, but I hope someone agrees with me.
My suggestion if it counts for anything, is to be Simply Kicked for saying the over-used term of "U" instead of a harsh and unnecessary BAN. Or possiby make it a text block etc. Someone Please look at this and post your thoughts.

it's not going to be taken off, talk normal and it wouldn't happen.

I get frustrated when I get kicked a few times for saying words in the spamfilter, but anyone with a half of a brain would stop saying after 3-4 times.

Rally all you want, its definitely not getting changed.

Don't you realise? Its all part of the grand plan! They are not banning you because you can't spell. Its because they hate you and they don't want you messing with their plan of world domination.

imho, having to constantly unban people for saying 'u' is more annoying than people saying 'u'

 

Thorpe, there is strict and there is nazi... I swear to god... i get kicked every few minutes... i even got kicked for putting a colon thing at the end of my sentances... Seriously at lease take out the grammatical parts... maybe not the spelling.
