HellBound, Second Try...

I think this one is a lot better than the last one. I did say that I would be doing it with Orange and White but it doesn't really suite the theme. Again I failed With my banner (i think) but all my placement is better.

Can I have some healthy CnC?

this is 1000 000 times better than ur first one.
it would look better if you changed the font of the banner , and put some sort of line in between the navigation its will be easyer when you slice aswell

 

its good.. but the banner needs a bit more detail and I suggest making the fonts closer together? But yeah, its really good. Alot better than Version 1.

AJ, I was going to put some detailed lines between each of the different links on the nav, BUT, if you knew that CSS can place any type of text over an image, I can juts link the text to the pages etc, not actually doing it, image by image as a link each (which would be stupid). I like the text on my banner, because it suits the plain style of it.

I think I might code this one up as my real first layout of my site.

I luv your new sliced sig Kivrin, looks great. I might do one if I get some spare time. For now I just got to learn some more CSS and practice slicing and placing layouts.

 

Definately alot of wasted space here too, the nav bar is one example, it's too empty and long... the text also, it's not easy to read or appealing. Headers are you friend

at least you're learning.

 

Yeh well it was just a content filler. I am going to use headers when I make the real content and change the text. Focus on teh layout

I will probably code it and do other pages content and touch it up etc. tommorow arve, since it will be a friday.

 

Font is still a big part of the layout, if the font is ugly/unreadable (NOT the text) then it's a big downfall.

 

I meant by that the content was just temporary, the font will be definitely different from what I have placed already. Unless your talking about something else .

Alot better, *steals design idea* Mind Given it to me so I can use it on my mizzle space LOL. The sides coulda been a light black tho almost like carbon fiber black. And the nav bar is fugly, nothen to it just text.

 

Exactly, nice plain Nav for simplistic looks. If I did up the Nav bar more it would stand out to much. I was thinking of adding little detail but for now I am really working hard on CSS. I havn't touched it in like ma week and I forgot most of what I was learning .

This is by far much better than the first one you made. The only thing I don't like is the placement of "Hell-Bound" at the top of the layout. Try using different positions and designs.

 

I don't like it at all..... The Space between hell and bound in enormous and isn't very creative. Try to add some flare insted of just dull monotone color, and did you copy my signature because i had it here for like 2weeks and it has hellbound on it. =D

I started a project called "Hell-Bound" a couple of months ago that was something totally different and when you said that I could of copied from your sig I had a look and I have actually never seen that before or took notice because of the writing.

Well I am making a THIRD layout for the main page but it is not in development for ages because of something that slowed my production down. I am going back to learning sigs for a while, I never got the hang of them

 

For being Hell Bound dont you think it should alot more Devil-ish? Darker colors red / black maybe? Glowing orange is Wussy ^.^ lol
