    Does PS3 Reformatting Erase Online Data?
    Ok, so I've run into a little problem with my PS3 and I need to reformat the hard drive, will this cause me to lose my online data? (E.G: Call of Duty stats, Rankings). I have all my game data backed up, but PLEASE DEAR GOD DONT LET ME LOSE MY ONLINE DATA!!! (RANKED 7TH ON COD:WAW PSN LEADERBOARDS) :'(

    You will not lose any online data, erasing the harddrive doesn't erase any memory card either, it will only erase your options and other preferences. :) found this on Google.

    :laugh: I recently had to format mine, doesnt earease online data , i wasnt too worried about my cod online cos im poo , just about fifa saves n saints row saves. so dont worry , it wont.
