Download songs from myspace// other sites

Many people post songs or videos, or other content on the internet- allowing others to see or listen to the content for free. Ever had that song you really wanted to download from myspace music, but the artist didn't put it up for download?

Well, here's a simple procedure for ripping music from myspace as well as other sites. Please stay with me as I drone on for a bit about how this works.





A. When music// videos are uploaded on the internet and put onto a site for distribution or sampling, they MUST first be put on to a domain host site.

B. After uploading the file, the company// person // whatever will extract an html or javascript code (depending on the format of the content activator) and post it on their site.

C. To download this file, you must find the link of the original host, which the file was first uploaded to. This can be done in 2 ways.

firstly, you can click on the view button on your toolbar, and then click source. This will give you the full code of the current site page you are on. If the music// content is uploaded here, you can scroll through and find the link (assuming you are slightly familiar with code)

There is, however, a problem with this. Many sites, well most, encrypt their code, so here we come to our second method. - USING a RIP SITE







From here I will explain the procedure to downloading the content.



1) find the page with the content you want to download

2) enter the exact URL of the current page onto a ripping site or search through unencrypted code manually

One such site that is capable of this is: www.file2hd.com

3) Take ur shit, and follow the rip site's directions to downloading and boom u got whatever.


4) if you found the link manually, follow the link normally as you would any other website. As soon as you do, a new download file should come up.

No pictures, and in theory you shouldn't even be posting this, as information uploaded to copyright protected sites (most musicians/myspace pages) is not meant to be ripped, even if you own the song and you just want to get a backup. Plus, there are many guides already circling around on how to do this (DownloadHelper, RealPlayerDownloads, etc.)

Although, your method does work (sometimes, not always - if the uploaded file is in the incorrect format, it doesn't work), it's neither legal nor efficient, and the guide itself is not very colorful, and pictures would help a ton.
