[Planning]

First of all, sneaking out of your house takes planning. There are many steps that you need to take. First of all, walk your dog around the block. If you don't have a dog, just go ride your bike. You need to learn the route that you're taking out and back. Take note of any neighborhood watch signs. You'll want to avoid these spots, because they could call the cops. If anyone is seeing a kid at night running around, chances are you're screwed. Good thing you have a guide.


Preperations



For a two story house there are two routes you can take, the back door or your room window. For one story houses you'll have to take your room window. Remove the screen of the window. It is simple and isn't that hard. You'll want to move your shoes and items you are going to take into your room. This way you won't have to go back downstairs. Make sure you say good night to everyone two hours prior to sneaking out. This way you'll see if your parents would need you during your absence. Throw a movie on during your long wait, or just text on your cell phone.

Taking the back door is a bit harder. You can leave everything around the house, but it is a good idea to bunch everything up. This way, everything will be ready. When your parents have been asleep for 30 minutes, just take the back door. You can take the same way back in. This isn't recommended, but it is useful if you don't have a window in your room or you live in the garage/basement.

Precautions

Don't leave anything that would cause a distraction to your family in your room. These things could be a pet, a cell phone, or the TV on. Also, make sure you don't go back out of your room after saying good night to your family. This would raise some suspicion. Make sure your parents are asleep and you are extra quiet sneaking out. Wear marine blue, because it fits in with most night settings. Black also works, but it isn't as effective.


Back-up Plans

If you get caught, then just tell your parents you heard something and went to check it out. Take an extra key in case you get locked out. For this to work, you must be close to your house. If you're pretty far away, you're screwed. Give it up and be honest once you get caught. I doubt you will get caught if you have an IQ above room temperature. Just use common sense and be cautious. Avoid neighborhood fog lights set off by sensors. These are bad and highly raise suspicion. If you see a car, just run by the nearest plant and crouch.

Sneaking out
Your screen is off, your shoes, jacket, and marine blue/black clothing are prepared. Now all you have to do is sneak out! Be extra quiet and cautious of the neighborhood setting and people. Use your imagination for what you want to do and have fun! If you have a security system, don't sneak out!

 

decent guide, from what I've read of it, i skimmed it, and basically thats how your supposed to do it, but i don't think teens these days, take the initiative to plan, upon acting out.

 

I find this guide pretty worthless.. I live in a 3 story house, I stay on the bottom story while my parents are on the very top.. I took this picture in my room, its 10:30 at night... so.. ya..

Add one thing: Garage Side door. I use that to get out, because my back door squeaks like a motherfucker and my room is 2 stories high, so window doesn't work.

 

I am a 54 year old living in my mums basement - This guide has done a world of good for me. I can sneak out past 9pm to buy cheesits and gatorade so I can stay up really late and watch sexcetera on TV! Thank you so much!

Note: Plan a route down your stairs, if your room is on the upper floors. During the day, find out which ones squeek, which ones are safe and silent. There's nothing worse than being 10 metres from your door and having that 3rd stair squeal like a posessed piglet, ruining your potential gatorade/cheesits run.

 

I liked this guide, it can be a bit more informative though.....shame i can't use such a guide, let alone even sneak out, my neighborhood is lately been very...."active" if i must say in gang activities and robberies.

As for this guide, it's pretty damn spot-on. If I wanted to sneak out, I'd just wear runners and walk out the door whenever I wanted, while being extra quiet.

You know what's funny the guide is good, but when you do sneak out of the house, when you return you will be waiting for a big Ass-Whooping.

Personally, I don't see this guide being of much usage to anyone, not only because it's small and not too informative but because everyone's house is lain out differently and most people's parents rooms can vary in location. The one good thing I can derive from this is that you have pretty decent grammar/spelling.
