mint cakes are an item which are not yet discontinued, but are fairly hard to get. Being this hard to get, they are worth a lot to players. They only cost 20k. But their street price is a lot more important the its Grand Exchange price. The street price ranges from 3 - 5m.

i remember before i even knew what they were, after the herblore update a guy wanted mint cakes for vials of water, i bought 10 from g/e instantly lmao :S

Let's not turn this into a mint cake discussion. They're being and sold because players developed faith in them, and it seems to be long-term as mint cakes have had a high street price for over a month now.

For everyone else - I left my MSN for a reason.
