1. Interpret the statement: “The Constitution is to be interpreted as a living tree capable of adapting to changes in Canadian society rather than something frozen in time with whatever meaning may have applied in 1867.” Discuss to what extent this statement can be validated by considering the evolutionary development in the meaning, purpose and structure of human relationships within Canadian society.
