    I think XP is the best operating system Windows has come out with.

    Of course, each generation thinks the one they grew up with is the best.

    UAC doesn't affect boot time.

    Even then, I am quite sure your vista does not boot in 10 seconds.

    With a 1.73 GHz Duo Core, it still only boots up in 35 seconds. And I highly doubt a person like you would have a faster processor :/

    UAC is one of the distinguishing features of Vista, if you're going to be disabling it, you might as well be back to using XP.

    Hahah why would you disable UAC. So your saying just Vista loads in 10 seconds or the whole machine (POST script etc).

    Of course Uac doesn't affect it. Yes, UAC is one of the distinguishing features of Vista, Thats why i said if u turn it off its good. Xp is good its just vista runs faster
