Buying an MP3 player

I owned a Zune and an iPod(classic, 80 gig.) I preferred the iPod actually, and sold the Zune =\. and iTunes isn't difficult to use, and it's EXTREMELY easy to connect it to several different computers with no problems. I have heard stories of people fucking there ipod's by unconnecting them improperly or getting all there songs deleted cause they sync the iPod to an unknown computer. I've never had that problem and I've had mine for 2 1/2 years or so. The only other brand I can reccomend is Creative, I'd buy a Creative over a Zune anyday.

 

Oh, so don't buy something successful and nice cus everyone is buying it.

You've never had an ipod, and it cannot be a comparison. My friend has a Zune and regretted it after he got his iPhone 3G. Really Viper, stop supporting it cus you don't want it. iTouch is BETTER

I own a zune, i used to have an ipod.

i prefer my zune, but if you're going to buy a zune get the new generation ones, they're a lot slimmer, and not that expensive.

 

The new nano I think is the best but you should look into zen's

 

iPods are good.
But i fucking hate iTunes.

 

Comparing a Zune to an iPod Touch or iPhone is stupid because they are two completely different products. The Zune's direct competitors are the iPod classic (up against the 30gb, 80gb and 120gb zunes) and the iPod nano (up against the 4gb, 8gb and 16gb zunes).

The zune beats its competition hands down.

As I said before, buying an iPod touch is stupid because you pay more than double the price for less than half the storage capacity. For what?. A gimmick - the touch screen.

 

Zune's are just too big for me :-\ I've have a 30gb iPod and now an iTouch, loved them both and I'd probably never buy anything else. I'd go with the iTouch hands down and you can also jailbreak it but I'd wait until a year because if you do it it voids the warentee.

It all depends on how much you have and are willing to spend.

If you have enough, go ahead and buy an iPod as they are reliable and spacious.

If you're limited, they sell some nice 4 gigs at Walmart for 70 or so bucks. You might go check those out as well.

 

If you knew half of jack about an iTouch, you'd know it's not just for the touch screen.

 

If you want internet, get a bloody PDA or iPhone for God's sake.
Better yet, get a laptop.

If you want applications, get a iPhone, Windows Mobile device or other smartphone.

The touchscreen IS a gimmick which Apple uses to market the iPod Touch.
It's for people who can't afford an iPhone but still want to look cool.

If internet is all you're buying an iPod Touch for, you're an idiot.
If the touch screen is all you're buying an iPod Touch for, you're a gullible idiot.
If you're buying an iPod Touch for the bigger screen, there are cheaper and more practical alternatives available (not necessarily Zune).
If you're buying an iPod Touch simply for music, movies and photos, there are plenty of alternatives which more storage space for less than half the price.

tl;dr: the iPod Touch is an expensive gimmick.

 

i got a sansa, or something.. works decent and cheap. Has video, recording, radio, d-load songs. like 180 bucks.

 

The Sansa MP3 players are great. Only problem is the smallish screen. Not a problem if you just want music, though.

 

get an iPhone, i got one its soo good. Its better than a PDA
