OT: Personally, I just think Jagex are trying to scare people into stopping botting.

 

Well.. most people probably used paypal, so they can't really link anything..

also, I don't think jagex can force a botting company to give that information up. :embar:

If so.. lots of botters would be fucked.

(although this would be a HUGE amount of work for jagex....)

ODDS ARE, that it's just a scare tactic.

 

What they might be saying is if they sue a macro company and win (highly unlikely they win or even sue) they will get all the info people put into the clients? If the email/password matches then banned?

edit: It's not like it's personal info anyway. The accounts are jagex property.

 

Doubt it... Who would use the same username AND password?

 

Don't know if you misunderstood but in my nexus client I have 9 accounts in it. I put them in so I just click the username fill out the gui and leave. Im saying if jagex sued nexus maybe they'd ban all 9 accounts if they user and pass matched

 

i dont think its possible for them to do this... and plus its easier to go to soulwars and you will find more bots

 

It's just Fagex trying to scare us into not botting. My response to it? Buy even more VPSes and bot more accounts!

My information on my Paypal account is not fake, it's all truthful & correct information... But how would they link it?

 

"i didnt register all those accounts to my paypal!" excuse for all of the bots on your paypal and free refund from paypal for hacked paypal, infeenite phree monies!
