~speed of time?

why does time move at the speed it does, not like clocks and stuff. but the way you move. why do you take in everything in that speed, why is it not possible to altar the speed (not time travel) but take in as if you we traveling slower or faster(not drugs)

 

You only move as fast as you physically can. How fast you can physically move is not the speed of time, time has no speed, time is an illusion of change.

Because everyone obviously observers change at the same rate....

 

Well, some people believe that you cannot measure time, and that you can experience a set of time, eg, 5 minutes slower then a different 5 minutes.

When you get an adredeline rush, your body and everything else seems to be moving much slower, and you are more aware of things. You can probably google the theory itself.

 

The human body experiences time as fast as it can (within reason) while not exceeding its physical limitations.

 

if it is not exceeding physical limitations, then why can you do some drugs and take in everything as if it was going faster

 

pretty sure drugs blank you out
skipped half a night with them

i believe masterkiller is right with an adrenaline rush everything moves slower

 

If the speed of time were to change, we wouldn't even notice it as we live in time. Time is in essence a superset of our existence.

its really a moot arguement... its like saying "which way is a piece of string"

 

Time has no speed, we simply cannot move faster because our humans bodies are not capable of doing so.

 

Time is relative to the observer, and the physical state that the observer is in. Since everyone on earth is in roughly the same physical state we all have roughly the same observation of time with differences so minute that it would not be noticeable to the human eye/

 

Time is just a measure of change. The only speed time has is how fast everything changes. Everyone views time's "speed", if you want to call it that, the same because we are all seeing change at the same speed.
