Was this trade legit???

I bought an account 6m (dont reli need to into much detail bout that)

we went 50/50 and it went smoothly, I now have the account that I bought and everything just seems too good.

It say's that the recovery questions were not set and I have made my own and I have to wait 14 days for them to activate...

So does this mean once the 14 days is up the account is definately mine or can the person still find a way to get it back.

yes he can, if it was a member, and if he knows earlier password and additional information like creation date and where created he can get it back without recoverys so you should ask for all pervious information.

 

To get the recovs reset instantly, send a message to Jagex saying:


"Dear Jagex,
I would like to request my recovery questions be reset immediatly. The old ones were :

(recovery1)
(recovery2)
(recovery3)
(recovery4)
(recovery5)

I'm scared someone might know them, and really want to keep this account."

 

benz...taht doesn't work..they have an option now in recover an acc... "someoneknows my recov answers" and you haev to put more than just recov answers..because if someone knew yyour recovery answers..then...they could just change them..so yeah.

I Think It Isnt Legit Because I Have Encountered The Same Problem As Him, Cause Oh 3days Ago Bought Awsome Pure For 450k, The Guy Recovered In 10mins..new Record?then I Asked Him He Instantly Did It Agin After I Changed Pass And He Recovered The 2nd Time To!lmfao!if Only I Knew His Sythe Name..and Both Times The Account Had No Recoveries Till I Set Them And Lost 1.8m To A Another Noob Who Recovered A Pure I Really Loved ! BUT BE VERYCAREFUL, TAKE EVERYTHING OFF THAT ACCOUNT UNTILL RECOVERIES ARE SET

 

If it havent got any recoveries when you bought it and when you tried to put the recoveries the guy that you bought from coulda just put new recoveries before you and it was all that he needed.. For now you should not put any stuff to that account..

 

Any account can be recovered. Even if the account has members and new recoveries, the original owner can still get it back with previous ip's, old recoveries, account creation details, and other information. The bottom line is don't buy account at all if possible.

 

Very true bottom line is don't buy accounts unless you know for sure the person is legit and wont recover it.

But as for you, you can never really tell if the person is planning on scamming you. The person could be just planing on selling the account but it still has recoves. It dosent mean he is going to scam. Or just because a account dosen't have recoves dosen't mean he is legit.

You can't tell so don't do it. Btw even if a acc hasn't been members before it can still be recovered.

because i set some and 3/14 days he got pw and took my 1.5m off there and scammed back account.

 

the maker of the account can always recover the account if they set things up right. simpler solution is to not dick about buying accounts and just get your own one up to a decent level.

 

You will see that people dont care about recoverys alot of the time, they let you set their own, because they know alot of the info, acc buying is UNSAFE.

 

You can ALWAYs recover,UNLESS YOU do CC Membership, and have the recoveries set. It was legit.

Prettymuch all account sales are scamms to some degree. iv only bought 2 accounts that i still have. out of the 10 iv bought in general

Any account can be recovered if the owner has payment info or old IP's, which is why high level accounts are valued so low.
